Oh hey -
Welcome to a small collection of curious things inspired by nature, strange ideas, and the quiet beauty of the world around us.
The designs blend naturalist illustration, small surreal moments, and a touch of dry humor. Bugs wander across patterns, forests glow under strange skies, and the occasional squid shows up where it probably shouldn’t.
Everything begins as artwork and slowly finds its way onto things meant to be used every day - stationery for wandering thoughts, tote bags for adventures big and small, and home goods that make ordinary spaces a little more interesting.
rock paper squid is created by me - Kale, a Canadian artist and mother who spends a lot of time noticing small details, asking strange questions, and more often than not feeling existentially unwell.
